The dashboard is an internal, laptop only tool that the stylists use to search the inventory database for apparel/accessories and place 7 items into an order for mail delivery. The stylists use this tool every day, all day, so it needed to be a clean and intuitive space to work in to quickly put orders together. The existing dashboard was clunky and outdated with new windows popping up to do various tasks. It was a bad user experience and added time to the stylists order making process.
• Stakeholders needs assessment.
• Extensive research including an interesting case study from a designer at Stitch Fix.
• Went through several rounds of wireframes, working closely with the stakeholders and dev team.
• Fully designed screens handed off to the developers with constant QA and tweaking.
A clean interface that brought all the stylists various tasks to complete an order into one space. The time to complete an order went down significantly.
